🪙 Bank of Mongolia Unveils “Genghis Khan” Commemorative Coins and Places Them in the Treasury Fund

The Bank of Mongolia has officially unveiled the Genghis Khan” commemorative coin series, created based on the original model of the “Great Emperor Genghis Khan” statue displayed at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, and placed the collection into the Treasury Fund.

  • 🏛️ The commemorative coins were produced using the modern “Smartminting Ultra High Relief” technology and are being released in six variations, including silver 1 oz, 5 oz, and 1 kg editions, as well as gold 0.5 gram, 1 oz, and 1 kg editions.

  • The reverse side of the silver 1 oz coin and the gold 0.5 gram and 1 oz coins feature the internationally recognized “Guilloché” engraving technology commonly used in watchmaking, creating intricate patterns and a reflective visual effect.

💰 According to the Bank of Mongolia, the 1 oz gold coin is valued at MNT 22.5 million, while the gold-plated 5 oz silver coin is valued at MNT 3 million and has been placed in the Treasury Fund.
