💰 FRC Reviews MNT 1.96 Trillion Project Financing Pipeline and Debt Securities Registration

The Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC) has reviewed the registration of 5 million debt securities, each with a face value of MNT 100,000 and a maturity of up to 60 months, to support the planned public offering of the Development Bank of Mongolia.

📌 As of 31 May 2026, the Development Bank had completed financing assessments for projects totaling MNT 1.96 trillion, against its MNT 2.3 trillion lending target for 2026. The current project pipeline is concentrated in:

  • 🏗️ Infrastructure – 56%

  • ⚡ Energy – 25%

  • 🏭 Manufacturing – 10%

  • 🚛 Transport & Logistics – 6%

  • 🌱 Green Finance – 2%

💵 The proposed MNT 500 billion bond issuance is expected to provide funding for these projects. During the same meeting, the FRC also approved several capital market and financial sector matters, including securities registrations, investment fund applications, and financial services licenses.
