🏛️ Mongolia’s 2026 Spring Parliamentary Session Concludes After 79 Sitting Days ⚖️

🏛️ The 2026 Spring Session of the State Great Khural (Parliament) concluded after 79 sitting days, during which Members of Parliament introduced 43 new bills and passed more than 138 bills and legislative amendments.

📌 Key legislation and resolutions adopted during the session included:

  • 18 primary laws

  • 2 revised laws

  • 188 laws on amendments and revisions

  • 7 laws on the ratification of international treaties

  • 5 laws repealing existing legislation

  • 58 parliamentary resolutions

⚖️ A total of 79 laws and resolutions were submitted during this spring session, marking the highest number compared with previous sessions. Of these, 43 draft laws were initiated by Members of Parliament.

📑 Toward the end of the session, Parliament finalized discussions on the Law on Petroleum, the Law on Economic Freedom, the Law on Family, the Law on Family Dispute Resolution, human rights-related legislation, and the draft law concerning the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia.
